You change trains in DC, and in Newport News you board bus for Norfolk to finish trip.
I like Amtrak because you can move around and there is a snack bar and rest room available.
Someone can pick you up, we will make only one trip so make arrangements to travel together. Joe & Barb Amtrak is very accommodating to handicapped people.
Greyhound Bus Ridgewood, NJ to Elizabeth City, NC $192.00 round trip
You leave in evening around 9pm arrive in am sleep_(???) along the way
The bus station is 1 mile from my house!
Continental Airlines Newark, NJ to Norfolk, VA approx. $250.00 round trip
The airport is only an hour away, We will be glad to make 1 trip to airport so coordinate
